FAQ's

What is the difference between Traditional Tattoos and Fineline Tattoos?

Traditional Tattoos typically don't need a touch up whereas a Fineline typically does need a touch up (Regularly only one depending on placement). Traditional tattoos can also range in complexity depoending on the artist, however they are most often done with richer line work due to more needles. Fineline is meant to heal a little lighter and daintier which is why they appeal to female clientele but some men are drawn to the look too! Fineline heals a little more "clean" looking because of how thin the line work is.

Do I need a touch up appointment?

Typically you only need one touch up following your initial appointment (except hand and fingers, those can be higher maintenance). Because we are using smaller needles and depositing less ink in your skin, it allows your body to metabolize ink easier during healing. I's important to keep in mind that everyone is different. Healing depends on design, placement and aftercare.

Can I get a tattoo if I’m breastfeeding?

Doctors prefer if you stay away from tattoos while pregnant/breastfeeding because of risk of infection. Consult with your doctor before making any decision.

Do you retouch Traditional Tattoos?

Unfortunately, no. Because our needles are too small to match their line thickness. It would cause trauma to your skin if we keep "Building it".
